4. Legal Framework & International Compliance

LEKYN operates across West Africa, Europe, and the Gulf region. The platform strictly enforces the following normative standards:

Republic of Benin (Law No. 2017-20): Full compliance with the Digital Code of the Republic of Benin under the supervision of the Personal Data Protection Authority (APDP).
European Union (EU Regulation 2016/679 - GDPR): Application of data minimization, explicit consent, portability, and prompt exercise of European users' privacy rights.
Gulf Countries — GCC (United Arab Emirates & Saudi Arabia): Adherence to UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection and the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
OHADA Zone (Revised SYSCOHADA): Immutable financial audit trail with SHA-256 cryptographic sealing and certified timestamping on every purchase order and invoice.

5. Intellectual Property & Reserved Rights

All graphic assets, brand identities, typography, software architecture, source code, photographs, mockups, editorial books, and trademarks appearing on LEKYN are intellectual works protected by national and international copyright and intellectual property laws.

Any reproduction, representation, extraction, alteration, or public dissemination, in whole or in part, without the prior express written consent of LEKYN, is strictly prohibited and constitutes an infringement subject to legal prosecution.

Projects delivered through B2B partnerships (notably with Groupe Power Firm) remain the property of their respective owners in accordance with bilateral contract terms.
